The use of industrial gases in manufacturing of glass products has increased significantly over recent years. Gases play important role producing high-quality industrial glass products economically while reducing emissions. Be it manufacturing of glass containers or float glass or glass fibres or picture tubes, gases of right specification and optimum cost impacts product quality and profitability of the manufacturers.
Airgases Projects provides to glass industry a custom designed Air Separation Plant based on cryogenic technology producing high purity oxygen or low purity oxygen and high purity nitrogen & argon required for various applications. We can also provide low purity oxygen plants based on VPSA technology and nitrogen from PSA / membrane technology where volume of gases required is rather low and lower purity product is acceptable. Our team can also offer cryogenic liquid storage, pumping and vaporisation ( SPV) systems where liquid oxygen, nitrogen or argon is purchased from external sources The liquid thus purchased is stored in cryogenic storage tanks and then pumped to required pressure or directly supplied through pressurised tank and vaporised to ambient temperature before being used by customer for its applications.
